Join our open letter
for Every Student, and Every School:

Dear Local Elected Officials:

We believe that every child in our community should receive a quality education, no matter the color of their skin, the amount of money their family has, the language they speak, their background, or where they call home.
 
Becoming that kind of community depends on elected leaders fully supporting every school, and ensuring every school has the resources they need to address root problems so that they can provide every student with a quality education. This means ensuring:

• great teaching in every classroom;
  
• ​the tools and support teachers need to be successful;
  
• sufficient mental health support for students;
• access to all extracurricular activities that are so important to a well-rounded education;
  
• public schools are invested in as much as any other community and state, showing Hamilton County as an attractive place for families and businesses;
  
• School facilities are safe and conducive to a learning environment;
  
• finally, elected officials should be asking teachers and parents what they need to provide every student a quality education – and delivering on it. 
  
  

We are calling on each of you to focus on giving all of our schools the resources they need and in doing so, make this a community where we respect and support each other across our differences and ensure our schools are places where every child belongs and can thrive.
