Tomorrow, Hamilton County Schools Superintendent Dr. Bryan Johnson is expected to release his requested 2019-2020 budget. This is a key moment in the budget process and we encourage you to attend the meeting if you can (5pm at 3074 Hickory Valley Rd).
What we are hearing is that the Superintendent is likely to ask for some significant changes for next year. This could allow Hamilton County schools to offer more competitive teacher pay, to help more students attend the Future Ready Institutes, to meet federal standards for students with disabilities, and to allocate resources to tackle the issues highlighted by the community as priorities.
